A few useful answers.
Should I choose a bucket or individual meals?
Choose a GoBucket for a preset mix of food and extras, including heater bags, snacks, coffee, hydration sachets and cutlery. Choose individual meals if you want to select flavours, suit dietary needs or add a few meals to supplies you already have.
How do the individual meal deals work?
We offer single meals at standard price, 12 meals with 5% off, 18 meals with 7% off and 36 meals with 10% off. Use the bundle options on a meal product page and check the final price before purchasing. The meal tiers do not apply to GoBuckets.
Are the meals ready to eat without heating?
Yes. The meals are fully cooked and can be eaten straight from the pouch. Heating is optional. Follow the storage and use instructions on the packaging.
Are they freeze-dried or dehydrated?
No, neither. These are cooked meals in retort pouches. You do not need to add water to rehydrate the food. Water may still be needed for heating methods, drinks or any sides you add.
How long do they last?
Individual meals last up to three years from the date of manufacture, rather than three years from purchase. GoBucket dates vary by the items inside, with a typical best-before period of around 2.5 years stated on the product pages. Check the actual labels and store as directed.
Are gluten-free and vegan options available?
Yes, selected individual meals are labelled gluten-free, vegan or both. Use the meal filters above, then check each product’s ingredients and allergen details. The preset buckets contain a mixed selection and are not presented as gluten-free or vegan buckets.
Are all pouches complete meals?
Some meals include their sides, such as Butter Chicken with Rice or Tender Lamb & Pearl Barley. Others are best paired with a side of your choice. Both GoBuckets include mash and, in the 5-Day GoBucket includes desserts too. Check the contents and serving suggestions so you can plan enough food for your household.
Are heater bags included?
The 3-Day GoBucket includes 15 flameless heater bags and the 5-Day GoBucket includes 25. Heater bags are not listed as part of each individual meal purchase, but can be purchased separately.
How many people will a bucket cover?
The 3-day and 5-day names describe the products. Coverage depends on how many people you are feeding, their energy needs, appetites and what else you pack. Use the full contents comparison to plan meals, snacks and drinking water for your household.
Do I need to add drinking water?
Yes. Keep drinking water with your food supply. Hydration sachets need water, and the bucket’s storage capacity is not a supply of filled drinking water.
